Sunnyslope Village Alliance is an organization of community leaders from Neighborhood Association and Block Watches, Business Alliances, School Districts and faith based organisations within Sunnyslope that strive to create vibrancy and a sustainable community spirit within the Sunnyslope community.

Our mission is to work diligently on improving business, social, cultural, educational and recreational outlets within Sunnyslope, as well as establish connections between residents, businesses, and visitors.

    Sunnyslope Village Alliance was envisioned by Dave Longley in 1989.

    The organization was officially formed in July 1989.  Craig Hansen was SVA’s first President

    August 1989:SVA published its first Newsletter ‘Village Voice’ November 1989:The first annual Sunnyslope Village Fair was held on the newly improved Dunlap Avenue with 5000 people in attend
